After 19 years of knowing Ron Harris, the artist, I still have trouble understanding the creative process of painting. For example, why he paints what he paints, the way he does it and why he does it in that particular style. So I have done a some reading about a painter he admires and things seem a bit more clear, just a little. Ms. O’Keefe seems to be playing with words here but I do somehow understand her meaning.
